Built in 1841, the Pub has been a stable, a Crown Bank of Canada branch, and old Aylmer’s municipal offices. Today, with indoor and outdoor seating for up to 1oo and an extensive drink menu, including 19 beers on tap and over 6o varieties of whisky, it’s the perfect place for a drink with friends.
Overlooking Aylmer’s main street, the British Pub offers a grown-up retreat from the modern world.
Housed within the British’s main building, the Pub boasts an extensive drink menu, including 18 beer on tap and over 60 varieties of whisky, scotch, rye and bourbon. Cocktails are mixed from syrups and condiments made in-house, as well as locally crafted Jack’s Tonique and Harvey & Vern’s ginger beer.
